Developed by the Bangladesh Election Commission Secretariat, Smart Election Management BD is a free lifestyle app packed with features to help Bangladeshis with their electoral needs, from arming themselves with past and current knowledge of candidates and parties to checking the addresses of polling centers.

The app also provides Bangladeshis data on eligible voter count and turnout rates for each constituency. During an ongoing election, Smart Election Management BD functions as a pocket vote counter, showing live results of the elections and allowing users to find out who’s the leading candidate.
Moreover, the app includes analytical graphs of results from previous elections, such as the number of votes and seats won by certain political parties. However, it can be infuriating to use due to the buggy search function and constant loading. Additionally, this tool is meant for Bangladeshis.
